Band Spotlight - the Misfits
The Misfits are a punk rock band formed in 1977. The most well known incarnation of the band included singer / songwriter Glenn Danzig, Bassist, Jerry Only, Guitar player, Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, and drummer Robo. They were highly influential on the genres of heavy metal and punk, and horror rock. Though they ceased recording and performing in 1983, a new version of the band (led by Only and without founder and former frontman Danzig) began operations in 1995 and have been continuing on since.
 When performing, The band wore make-up to appear undead and sported the Devil-Lock look, cladded with leather and spikes, a style still worn by fans or Fiends as the Misfits Fanclub is called the Misfits Fiend Club.
